Habitat For Humanity

Habitat for Humanity

Groundbreaking on our 2010 Premier Bank Habitat home took place on Saturday, January 30th. This year, Premier Bank is working with the FSU and FAMU Habitat for Humanity Campus Chapters on a Community Build. Our effort reflect a longstanding commitment by Premier Bank to enrich the lives of families throughout our community, and the ninth consecutive year the bank has participated in building simple, decant houses.

Premier Bank's involvement includes a financial sponsorship to help cover the cost of materials and a commitment to provide volunteers for labor. We encourage our bankers, directors, families, friends, and clients to join us any weekend. For more information, please contact us by calling (850) 386-2225 or emailing lesmith@premier-bank.com

About Habitat for Humanity

Big Bend Habitat for Humanity is a local, nonprofit organization dedicated to eliminating substandard housing and homelessness in Leon and Gadsden counties by constructing homes for low-income families who otherwise could not afford them. Homeowners help with the construction of their home by contributing 400 hours of "sweat equity" and make zero-interest mortgage payments after moving in. Big Bend Habitat for Humanity is located at 2921 Roberts Avenue, Tallahassee, FL 32310. To request an application or to receive more information about BBH, call (850) 574-2288 or visit www.bigbendhabitat.org
